Interest in LTE is growing. LTE is now widely being considered as the technology of choice for 4G networks worldwide. According to the Global Mobile Suppliers Association, at least 26 operators have already committed to LTE as of March, 2009. Although LTE is a promising technology, operators will be facing new challenges and requirements associated with the upgrade. There are also a number of burning questions and issues to address: How is the standardization process and early trials of LTE coming along? What happens after operators make the big leap? Will there be enough new wireless broadband applications, devices and users to drive revenue for operators? Where will the best bets be for growth and business opportunities in the 4G world? How many of China's 700 million mobile users are ready for 4G? The Call for Participation for China LTE Summit is open. We want to hear from you. Kindly contact Ms Maggie Li for information about the speaking criteria.
