Speaker Biography:
Ms. Zhao Huiling is the VP/Professor Senior Engineer of China Telecom Beijing Research Institute, visiting professor and doctoral advisor of Beijing Post and Telecom University. She is responsible for the technology R&D of Broadband Network and NGN as well as development strategy study for broadband network. She is chairing network standard study and enactment in China. She has many other engagements, including VP of Communications Network Technology Committee of China Institute of Communications, Standing Member of Beijing Council of China Institute of Communications, member of Communications Expert Group of National 863 Program, Chairperson of National SG Networks Working Committee of China Communications Standards Association. She once served as the VP of Research Institute of Telecommunication Transmission of MII, Vice Chairman of China IP and Multimedia Standard Group, Vice Director of General Technology Group of China High Speed Demonstration Network of National 863 Program. She also worked as the commissioner of All-China Youth Federation for twice. She was granted with special government subsidy and awarded with the title of "young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions" by the Ministry of Personnel. She has published over 100 articles and 11 technical books. She also won many awards: the First Award of National Technology Breakthrough Projects, the Second Award of National Science and Technology Advancement, the second Award of Ministerial Science and Technology Advancement for twice, the Third Award of Ministerial Science and Technology Advancement for six times.<back>
