Abstract
For high density core network equipment manufacturers
and service providers alike, voice quality of service (QOS)
remains the key requirement for delivering optimal service.
However, as the network function moves closer to the edge
and as more data-intensive applications move across the
network, the service provider is faced with several
questions. How do I reduce my maintenance costs while
maximizing my channel density? How do I add video
capabilities to increase my ARPU? What does QOS mean for
video or data-based applications? This presentation will
leverage TI’s leadership position in VoIP and video as well
as 20-years of voice quality data to answer these questions
for VoIP service providers and OEMs. <back>
