Topic: “Challenges and Solutions in the IMS Development”
Speaker: Mr Adi Paz, VP, Products & Marketing, RADVISION
Abstract
The presentation will cover the fundamental processes of
IMS network elements development and the inherent challenges
developers face. The speaker will discuss the underlying
components required, from the basic building blocks of IMS
protocol toolkits to the intricate details of application
deployment. Will describe the role of standardization in
overcoming the inherent complexity of the new architecture
and how standards can be leveraged to accelerate IMS
adoption. Real-life IMS challenges and solutions of network,
terminal, and application server developers will be
discussed. Attendees will also learn about IMS testing tools
and methodologies, as well as new and exiting approaches in
interoperability.
The aim is to provide an aggregated view from around the
world (APAC, EMEA and US) of IMS Developers challenges and
practical solutions, covering both the network and terminal
sides.
Speaker Biography
Adi Paz, VP of Products & Marketing, is responsible for
RADVISION’s developer solutions products. Over the past 13
years, Adi has held a variety of positions in the telecom
industry including management, business, development,
marketing, and product management. In his current position,
Adi manages the team that brings to market RADVISION’s
award-winning, widely-adopted multimedia protocol toolkits,
frameworks, and testing tools for IP and 3G domains. Prior
to joining RADVISION, Adi led strategic partnerships,
business initiatives, and product management at Starhome, a
Comverse company. In addition to this business and
technology background, Adi served as a major in the Israeli
army air force where he managed the initiation and
implementation of large-scale technology projects.<back>
